Actions and Listening Suggestions:

Jumpin' Up & Down

Try having everybody sit during the verses and jump up and down during the choruses. It will help to have them sit down on the word "down" at the end of the second to last line of the chorus.

Try writing your own version of the chorus that incorporates other actions &endash; for example:

• "skipping all around"
• "rolling on the ground"
• "making funny sounds"
• "turning 'round and 'round"

It doesn't even have to rhyme with "Jumpin' up and Down." Try any actions &endash;for example:

• "hopping on one foot"
• "swaying to and fro"
