Quick Facts About Judy & David

J & D love one thing more than music... each other. They were married in 1991 and have three beautiful children.

Judy is an Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music and has degrees in both teaching and piano performance from the University of Toronto. She taught music in the North York Board of Ed. from 1991 to 1994. All this aside, anyone who knows Judy will tell you that her biggest qualification is her big heart and her genuine love of children.

Remember the guy who got everyone singing aroung the fire? The one who led the whole summer camp in a cheer? That was David. For years David spent his "working time" as an entertainment industry executive and his spare time playing guitar and singing. One day he decided to chase a dream and switch things around a bit... 'and the rest is history'.

Backed by their pals in the All Together Now Band, Judy & David performed their first real concert in February 1993.

Within 6 months they had recorded over 80 songs on 5 cassettes: "Jumpin' Up & Down", "Rhymes, Chimes, and Quiet Times", "Magical Musical Journey", " Shake it All About", and "Animal Wonders".

Their four cassette collection, selling as the "My Little Yellow Bus" and "My Little Red Fire Truck", sold an astonishing 5 MILLION cassettes around the world within two years of release, breaking sales records for their distributor.

Their live concert show has toured extensively from coast to coast in Canada's most prestigious children's concert venues.

Their fresh, 100% participatory style has garnered critical praise as well as standing ovations from audiences of a few hundred to over 30,000.

In the summer of 1995, Judy & David established the world's first internet site devoted exclusively to children's music. Now thousands of people from around the world regularly drop by the "Judy & David Home Page" for song lyrics, pictures, sound clips, activities, concert info and more.

Their TV series, Judy & David's Boom Box, has been a huge hit for their co-producer / broadcaster YTV and is now seen coast to coast every weekday.

Their "Livin' In a Shoe" recording won the 1998 Juno award for best children's album.

Their hit "Once Upon a Time" audio series is now distributed across North America by Warner and Atlantic, marketed by The Children's Group.
