New 13-City Concert Tour Announced for Fall 2010 - Spring 2011

JiggiJump has grown every year and is being seen by more kids, teachers, and parents than ever! This coming year JiggiJump will tour its full scale show to theatres and concert halls in 13 cities across Ontario and its smaller show to schools in many more communities, reaching tens of thousands of kids in total. JiggiJump Rock is a fun musical workout which will take a closer look at diversity and teamwork through the metaphor of a rock band. It's the most entertaining, high-octane, physically active 55 minutes you can imagine!

JiggaJump Gets a New Name!

JiggaJump (with an "A") is becoming JiggiJump (with an "i"). We recently discovered some unintended connotations of our old spelling, so bye bye "A" and hello "I". Besides, in the age of iPods and iPads, why not iJump? It's a good iDea!

The facts are clear... and most alarming. Our society now has more overweight children than adults. National childhood obesity rates have increased three-fold in the past 15 years. Children are 40% less active today than they were 30 years ago.

Video games and other attractions to a sedentary life are more prevalent today among children than ever. What can we do? Our approach is to try to even the score. Let's give an active lifestyle a fair shot at a child's attention by making it more fun.

JiggaJump is here. It is a voice and a movement which is long overdue. JiggaJump's music and movement will be the Pied Piper of young children across North America who choose to sing, dance, and jump their way into an active, healthy life. Why will they choose this? Not because it's good for them. Not because someone told them to. Kids from Florida to the Yukon will be joining the JiggaJump Revolution because, simply put, it's fun.
