YTV and All Together Now Entertainment Inc. have begun production on 30 new episodes of their hit short format show, "Judy & David's Boom Box". The new episodes will again feature Juno-award-winning recording artists, Judy & David and their enormous boom box, "Boomy".

"We're absolutely thrilled!" says series co-star and co-producer David Gershon. "We had so much fun making the first season, but how many people watched it was out of our hands." The show has been a big hit for YTV Jr. The broadcaster decided to renew the show this spring and is now looking at the possibility of moving the show to its own time slot -- it is currently on at various times. Judy & David are particularly excited about plans to begin airing the show on a weekend morning, as well. "We have had so many letters from 6-9 year old kids who have discovered our show when they were home sick from school. Now they'll get a chance to see Boom Box."

Though the show is targetted at the pre-school crowd, it spills over into primary-age children and, judging from the YTV crew members humming the tunes on coffee breaks, parents enjoy the series as well.

The new episodes are scheduled to begin airing this fall on YTV Jr.
