Judy & David Earn Two 2002 Juno Nominations!
Judy & David, stars of "Judy & David's Boom Box" on YTV have earned a rare two Juno nominations in the same category in the same year. "Red's In the Hood", a new musical spin on Little Red Riding Hood, and "Songs From the Boom Box", a high energy selection of songs from their national TV series, have both been nominated for the best children's album category.Little Red Riding Hood never sounded like this before…
In Red’s in the Hood, Little Red Riding Hood is off with her basket of cookies to visit her motorcycle-riding, hip-hopping Granny, but she veers off the path, and runs right into the cookie-loving rap star B.B. Wolf. But the wolf’s vanity is his ultimate doing, when he unwittingly finds himself in the middle of a cool dance party, clad only in Granny’s pink pajamas.
Red’s in the Hood is Volume 4 in Judy & David's critically-acclaimed "Once Upon A Tune" series. The series also includes PigMania: A New Spin on The Three Little Pigs, GoldiRocks: A New Spin on Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and BeanStock: A Groovy New Spin on Jack and the Beanstalk, featuring a special guest appearance by pop superstar Jann Arden.

Judy & David's second Juno-nominated album this year is "Songs From the Boom Box", a collection of high-energy sing-along / dance-along songs that has received high praise from parents and kids alike. The songs are a sampling of the favourites from the couple's daily national TV series, "Judy & David's Boom Box". Judy & David worked with top producers in various genres including pop and hip-hop to create a contemporary sounding album that would be fun for all ages.
The CD version, like all Judy & David CDs in the past several years, doubles as a CD ROM with video, lyrics and activities.
The CD is marketed by All Together Now Entertainment Inc. and is distributed through Pacific Music Marketing and Festival Distribution.
