Judy & David Celebrate 10 Years of Sing-along, Dance-along Fun!
Judy & David, the award-winning video and recording artists and stars of the hit television series "Judy & David's Boom Box", are proud to be celebrating their 10th anniversary as children's musical entertainers. To commemorate this event, they will be performing a gala sing-along concert for their Toronto fans called "Boom Box Live!", presented by 97.3 EZ Rock. The concert will also feature the delightful sounds of the CharActors Theatre Troupe, Boomie the Boom Box and lots of special effects.
Judy & David are also excited to be launching a series of 3 new DVDs at this time called Treasure Park, Cars, Planes & Choo Choo Trains and Playground Jam. Other projects include the development of a new television series, plus a live musical based on their GoldiRocks CD which they'll be touring in 2004.
In the past year, Judy & David have played for thousands of fans across North America. They have been called the country's "Hottest Children's Entertainers" by the media with twelve albums and over five million recordings sold worldwide. They recently received their fourth Juno nomination in the Best Children's Album category for their BeanStock CD, which is a modern musical spin on the classic children's story Jack and the Beanstalk. Their Livin' in a Shoe album won the 1998 Juno award. Judy & David have two young children of their own but still perform more concerts than any other Canadian children's performer. "I can't believe our first fans are now teenagers!" says David. "We look forward to sharing our music with the next generation of young kids," adds Judy.. Their 10 years of success and survival in the world of children's entertainment is a great achievement.
