Judy & David’s Symphonic Adventure
Orchestral Instrumentation(Note: For smaller/community orchestras it is possible to do a smaller scale version of this show, however this needs to be discussed with the artists and approved at the time of booking.)
Core:
2 Flutes (please bring 1 piccolo for high note demonstration)
2 oboes
2 clarinets
2 bassoons
4 horns
3 trumpets
3 trombones
1 tuba
1 tympani
2 percussion (including 1 small drum set: snare, bass drum, hi hat, tom tom, ride cymbal)
1 harp
0 keyboard (but please have grand piano on stage for Judy to play)Strings:
Minimum: 10 first violins (we will send 6 parts, sufficient for 12 players)
Minimum: 8 second violins (we will send 5 parts, sufficient for 10 players)
Minimum: 6 violas (we will send 4 parts, sufficient for 8 players)
Minimum: 6 cellos (we will send 4 parts, sufficient for 8 players)
Minimum: 5 basses (we will send 4 parts, sufficient for 8 players)
Additional:
Judy & David will play guitar, tambourine, rain stick and other instruments which they will provide themselves (plus a grand piano provided by the venue as noted above).
